About Kyle Roelofs
I’m Kyle Roelofs — I’ve been in northwest Iowa since 2013, when I started at Dordt University in Sioux Center. I moved to Hull in 2017 and have been here since. Hull is home. It’s where I know the families who’ve farmed the same land for four generations, and where I intend to build for the next several decades. I’ve been rooted in this corner of the tri-state for over a decade.
Work
Professionally, I work at the intersection of business strategy, systems thinking, and client relationships. I currently serve as Head of Research and Development at Logic Inbound, where I evaluate emerging technologies — AI systems, automation platforms, and workflow tools — and translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business owner clients. My job is to take something genuinely complicated and tell the people who need to act on it exactly what it means for their situation.
Before that I managed a portfolio of client accounts as Senior Digital Marketing Specialist at Logic Inbound, overseeing campaign execution, performance reporting, and ongoing client communication across multiple industries. Earlier I founded Ready Lead Gen, a web development and lead generation business serving small business owners — built from zero, run entirely by me, operated for nearly five years. And earlier still, I sold advertising face-to-face to local businesses in Sheldon, Hull, and Orange City for Iowa Information — pure relationship-based sales in the exact territory I know best.
The common thread across all of it: taking something complex and making it clear for people with real stakes in the outcome.
Community
From 2023 to 2025 I served as a Deacon at American Reformed Church in Hull. The role required discretion, consistency, and genuine investment in the lives of congregation members going through difficult seasons — financial hardship, illness, loss, major life transitions. I was trusted with sensitive information and responsible for coordinating practical support across the congregation. It is the most relationship-intensive work I’ve done outside of a professional context, and it shaped how I think about showing up for people over time.
From 2021 to 2025 I served as a Sound and Video Technician at American Reformed Church in Hull — running audio and video for weekly services and events over four years.
In 2017 I volunteered with Second Chance Depot in Sioux Center, helping deliver furniture to families in need across the area.
Education
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa — 3.9 GPA, Kuyper Scholars Program. Dordt sits in the heart of the Dutch Reformed tri-state community I’ve lived in my entire adult life. My philosophy training gave me the analytical framework I use every day: how to reason clearly through problems that don’t have obvious answers, how to identify the assumption under the argument, and how to communicate a conclusion to someone who hasn’t done the analysis yet.
Before Dordt, I completed an Associate of Arts at Green River College in Auburn, Washington — 3.8 GPA, Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society.
Outside Work
I started my first business at age twelve — Kyle’s Lawn Service, serving residential clients within fifteen miles of home in the Greater Seattle Area. I ran it for four and a half years while in school. I learned early that showing up the same way every week is the business model.
I believe in building things that last. That means relationships more than reach, depth more than scale, and consistency more than intensity.
